Young's Chapel
Visiting a new church can feel intimidating, but we’re here to make it easy. Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for a church home, or just visiting the area, you’ll find a warm welcome at Young’s Chapel Baptist Church.
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early so you have time to park, meet a few people, and get settled before the service begins.
We love families and want your children to feel welcome and safe.
A dedicated room is available for infants through 4-year-olds. Parents are welcome to utilize the space as needed throughout the service.
Children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade are invited to participate in Children’s Church during the latter portion of the worship service. They’ll enjoy age-appropriate Bible teaching, activities, and opportunities to learn about Jesus in a fun and engaging environment.
Our services are centered on Jesus and grounded in Scripture — a blend of hymns and contemporary worship through music, prayer, and Bible-based teaching.
Come as you are. You’ll see everything from suits to jeans and boots. We care far more about meeting you than what you’re wearing.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by friendly faces and a church family that genuinely enjoys welcoming guests.
Our service typically lasts about an hour. You won’t be singled out or asked to stand and introduce yourself. Feel free to participate as much or as little as you’re comfortable.
Our sanctuary is filled with people of all ages and backgrounds. During the school year, this includes approximately 150 students and staff from Oak Hill Academy representing communities across the United States and countries around the world. It’s a unique reflection of God’s diverse family gathering together to worship Him.
Young’s Chapel Baptist Church is located in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia, directly across from Oak Hill Academy.
