Ministry Teams

This team works to improve and maintain the beauty of the church building, grounds, an. cemetery.

This team strengthens the bonds of fellowship, friendship, and love of the church family. They also provide community members with meals as needed.

This team provide information regarding health and wellbeing, coordinates guest speakers pertaining to health and wellbeing, and extends the ministry of the church to those around us.

This team provides ministerial outreach by raising funds from selling concessions at OHA Gold Team Basketball home games. The funds raised are used to support any need for an OHA student.

This team focuses on enhancing the church’s worship experience by implementing electronic imagery into the worship service. Also, the team maintains and updates the social media platforms for YCBC.

This team participates in:

Care Portal - a national organization that connects local Social Services with churches to help with needs.

Operation Christmas Child - Collecting items for shoeboxes for children around the world.

Care Bags: Organizes annual collection of personal items for individuals receiving services from the area Resource Center due to domestic violence.

This team beautifies the sanctuary for worship and special services. They provide flowers for all the seasons of the Christian year.

This team plans and implements creative ways to enhance the worship experience.

This team maintains regular contact with the young adults of our church as they continue to mature in college. They communicate our support for the development of their talents as they seek God’s purpose in their lives through their education.

This team provides physical and spiritual comfort during the time of bereavement. The team offers a meal after the funeral service to the family and friends.

This team prepares Welcome Baskets for new OHA staff. They provide opportunities for OHA students to lead and participate in YCBC worship service. They also encourage OHA students and staff to attend social events sponsored by the church.

Children’s Church and Nursery Care is provided by this team. The team focuses on teaching the children the liturgy of the church, so they can be more active participants as they grow. The teach primary Bible stories and the concepts that lead to discipleship.

God’s continued presence is revealed in the giving and receiving of fellowship as we respond to the needs of people in our area. Whether we build ramps, replace windows, paint houses, repair mailboxes, or meet others needs that aid people to live safely in their homes, we experience God’s Holy Spirit in our midst.
